In 2022, Canada and Ontario celebrates the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, marking her 70th anniversary on the Throne.
This year marks a historic occasion to celebrate and pay tribute to Canada’s longest-reigning Sovereign and the first to celebrate a platinum jubilee.
As The Queen’s representative in Ontario, the Lieutenant Governor will be marking the Platinum Jubilee throughout the year with a variety of events and visits to communities across the province..
